Digital Sales Administrator (Cape Town)



NB Publishers has a vacancy at its Cape Town offices for a digital sales and customer care administrator to enhance its dynamic digital offering and be a part of their sales team. The position reports to the Digital Sales Manager.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • working with the Digital Sales Manager in executing, tracking and reporting on multichannel marketing campaigns to support sales across multiple product sales lines and IP addresses
  • handling administration and logistics related to digital sales for all sales channels
  • liaising electronically and telephonically with customers, e-tailers and distributors and providing high levels of customer care in Afrikaans and English
  • administration of PharosOnline sales, reporting and invoicing
  • compiling sales material for e-book and electronic subscriptions and special promotions
  • compiling sales reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
  • optimising sales messaging to customers
  • compiling and coordinating new sales initiatives and ad hoc marketing campaigns
  • maintaining strong working relationships with all inhouse departments, booksellers and distributors
  • acting as backup for other functions within the sales department when required

 

The successful candidate:

  • has excellent administrative skills
  • has excellent organisational skills and can prioritise multiple projects
  • has excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills in both Afrikaans and English
  • has the ability to learn new skills and able to adapt to a changing environment
  • has an aptitude for finance
  • is proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint (Advanced Excel and a working knowledge of Bookmaster will be an advantage)
  • can function under pressure
  • has experience in data processing and/or direct sales
  • takes initiative in problem-solving
  • can work both independently and in a team, with minimum supervision
  • has top notch customer care skills
  • is detail oriented

 

 

Experience in a bookselling and/or e-commerce environment will serve as a recommendation.

Digitale verkoopsadministreerder  (Kaapstad)

 

NB-Uitgewers het ’n vakature in Kaapstad vir ’n verkoops- en klantediens-administreerder wat die dinamiese digitale produkaanbod sal bevorder. Die suksesvolle kandidaat sal aan die Digitale verkoopsbestuurder rapporteer.

 

Sleutelverantwoordelikhede:

  • werk nou saam met die Digitale verkoopsbestuurder om multikanaal-bemarkingsveldtogte aan te pak, te monitor en daaroor verslag te doen ter ondersteuning van verkope oor verskeie produkreekse en IP-adresse
  • hanteer alle administrasie en logistiek verbonde aan digitale verkope
  • skakel elektronies en telefonies met klante, e-handelaars en verspreiders en lewer hoë vlakke van klantediens
  • stel verkoopsmateriaal saam vir e-boeke en elektroniese subskripsies asook spesiale promosies
  • stel daaglikse, weeklikse en maandelikse verkoopsverslae saam
  • optimaliseer verkoopsboodskappe aan e-handelaars en eindgebruikers
  • help om nuwe verkoopsinisiatiewe en ad hoc-bemarkingsveldtogte te skep en te koördineer
  • handhaaf ’n goeie werksverhouding met alle afdelings, e-handelaars, verspreiders en kollegas
  • dien as rugsteuning vir ander funksies binne die verkoopsafdeling wanneer nodig

 

Die suksesvolle kandidaat:

  • het uitstekende administratiewe vaardighede
  • kan uitstekend organiseer en verskeie projekte gelyktydig hanteer en prioritiseer
  • handhaaf goeie menseverhoudinge en kan uitstekend kommunikeer in Afrikaans sowel as Engels en beide geskrewe en verbaal
  • wil graag vaardighede verbeter, leer en kan aanpas by ’n veranderende omgewing
  • het aanleg vir finansies
  • is bedrewe in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel en PowerPoint (’n praktiese kennis van Bookmaster en Advanced Excel sal ’n bonus wees)
  • neem inisiatief om probleme op te los
  • het uitstekende verkoops- en klantediensvaardighede
  • kan druk goed hanteer
  • werk goed onafhanklik en in ’n span, met minimum toesig
  • het ervaring van dataprosessering en/of direkte verkope
  • is goed met detail

 

Ervaring in boekverkope en/of e-handel sal ’n sterk aanbeveling wees.
